With the girls starting back to school tomorrow I have been walking down memory lane. Boy, does time fly! Seems just like yesterday I was getting Ashley ready for her first day of kindergarten, and now she is beginning 10th grade! She is driving, looking at colleges, and preparing to go to Australia next summer!
These girls have been given some amazing opportunities, they have been truly blessed. We all have!

I think the most important thing is how you look at life.
There are so many things involving one’s life… however, that person’s attitude toward life will make a world of difference.
Hopefully you are taking life with the lessons it brings and learning from them instead of fighting it. Change the things that you can change and accept the things you can not change. You can not change people, but you can change your experience.
Everyone has a choice, what will yours be?

Yes, you read correctly. David and I have decided to make this an annual trip for our family!
We had so much fun, even though you can not tell from the pictures, the girls had a great time too!
I caught the most fish, but David’s were mostly keepers! I go for the catch, not the eat, so releasing mine was fine with me

First Catch of the Day

Finally, David Caught One!

David's Big Catch!

Man, He's a big one!

Proud Fisherman

How Big is He?

The guys say 23 inches, but a picture does not lie

Turned out not to be a package for the girls, but a package for Scotty
June 26, 2009

While out and about today, I received a call from the girls saying they had a package from Scotty. They were talking so fast and excited that I could barely understand them.
When I got home and checked the box… it was not even addressed to them, it was addressed to Scotty! They had it open and already displayed in the rooms. Sneaky girls, good thing it was for them and not something dirty
By the way, that reminds me… Ashley will never check messages on David’s phone again. Our neighbor has a bad habit of sending David dirty jokes and pictures on his phone. Well, one night Ashley picked it up and checked it and said “Yuck! ! Gross!” and throw the phone down. I have told David to tell him to stop, now maybe he will!
